We don’t eat enough fish. I like fish but I just never seem to get around to making it. So this week I made it a point to add to me healthy recipes one with salmon. This easy salmon recipe is so easy using the fish right out of the wrapper.
Healthy Recipes: Easy Baked Salmon Recipe with Rice Moroccan Style
1 large bunch cilantro, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, pressed or finely chopped
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt, or more to taste
1 teaspoon ginger (optional)
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1/4 teaspoon saffron threads, crumbled
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
juice of 1 small lemon
One salmon fillet (1 lb)
1 1/2 cups yellow rice
3 cups stock
- Add the ingredients of the marinade in a bowl, up to lemon juice. Mix together and add to top of salmon in dish. I like to add a grated tomato as well to the marinade. Cook covered for about 20 minutes at 375 degrees or until done.
- Cook rice as desired.
