Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1/2 Cup White Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Wheat Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Cup Wheat Bran Cereal
- 1 1/2 Cups Quick Oats
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Cream softened butter and sugars with a mixer. Then add eggs and mix until well combined.
- Mix dry ingredients EXCEPT oats and bran in a small bowl. Add to butter mixture and mix together.
- Add oats, bran and mix well, with a spoon if needed. Mixture will be tough at this point. Then add chocolate chips, if desired.
- Use a cookie scoop to drop onto a cookie sheet about 12 pieces per pan.
- Bake 10-12 minutes or until tops are set and bottoms are browned.
- Let sit on pan for 5-10 minutes and then remove to a plate or cooling rack.
