Halloween Pretzel Snacks

  • 1/2 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter, softened
  • 1 Cup Sifted Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • Mini Pretzels (or your favorite)
  • 1 Cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Cup Halloween Sprinkles

    1. Using a mixer, beat the peanut butter, butter, and salt together in a medium sized mixing bowl, until fully combined.
    2. Gradually beat in the sifted powdered sugar on a low setting until you have a soft dough.
    3. Using a cookie pan, line it with parchment paper and lay out your pretzels.
    4. You can use an icing decorator's tube or a plastic bag to pipe the mixture onto the pretzels or you can use a small spoon. You'll want to add about a Teaspoon to each mini pretzel.
    5. Holding your pretzel down with one finger, pipe the peanut butter onto it with the other hand. Or if you have another method that works better feel free to do that.

    6. Cover each pretzel and then cover them with pretzels to create a sandwich pair, gently pressing so they stick together.
    7. Chill the pretzels for at least 30 minutes while you prepare the chocolate for topping. Microwave the chocolate chips in increments on 15-30 seconds on medium until melted, stirring in between each interval.
    8. Drizzle the chocolate over the pretzels in areas. Do a quarter of the pan and then add the sprinkles on top before the chocolate hardens.
    9. Then move on to the next area and so on. Put the pretzel snacks into the freezer to chill before serving.
