Healthy Meal Plan August 16

It’s the middle of August which means that if you have kids they have just gone back to school or are getting ready to go back. Whichever situation you are in, you are likely struggling with the thought of changing the routine. Again.

The school year routine takes some getting used to. I am not good at change and it always takes some time for me to adjust. Thank goodness where we live in New England my kids go back to school for 3 days and then they have 4 days off for Labor Day weekend. How sweet is that? It always helps to ease back into things.

Meal plans are an easy way to reach your health and lifestyle goals.

Here’s a meal plan to get you started for next week. Hopefully it will help take some of the stress out of your week by having one thing done and planned for!

Healthy Meal Plan February 1

  1. Monday / Spaghetti and Meatballs
    I love making this meal because I can make up the meatballs ahead of time and throw them in the slow cooker with the sauce and they are done by dinnertime! Definitely the best recipe I’ve tried for crockpot Italian meatballs!
  2. Tuesday – Tacos
    I use my own taco seasoning and make up the meat with some tomato sauce, seasoning and salsa. I add refried beans to the shells as well to make them extra hearty.
  3. Wednesday – Stuffed Pepper Soup
    This is a delicious version of stuffed pepper soup that my whole family loves!
  4. Thursday – Chickpea Curry
    We love Indian food but I don’t like to have meat every day of the week so this chickpea curry is perfect for a vegetarian meal during the week.
  5. Friday – Alfredo Lasagna
    Believe it or not, this recipe is actually pretty easy to make on a weeknight. My kids loved this Alfredo lasagna and it makes great leftovers for the weekend!
