What Does Vitamin E Do for Eczema?

Vitamin E may be helpful when it comes to treating eczema flare-ups. It is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that helps to reduce inflammation and hydrate the skin. The moisture in the skin helps to hold back bacteria, viruses, and allergens, making them less likely to cause eczema flare-ups.

Additionally, it has been found to help improve collagen production and reduce the visible signs of aging on the skin from eczema related irritation. If you suffer from eczema, talk to your doctor about if incorporating vitamin E into your regimen will be beneficial for you.

Vitamin E oil can also help reduce redness, itching and swelling associated with eczema.
