Household Cleaning

Natural Air Freshener

Wasp Repellent 

You can also use peppermint oil to getting rid of wasps and prevent rebuilding the nest by insects in the same area. To use, mix half a cup of vinegar and half a cup of salt in a spray bottle, apply half a teaspoon of peppermint oil and get to work on mold hiding in the corners of the bathroom and basement. Spray it and allow it to sit for several minutes before wiping it clean.

Plant Pest control 

A few days a week, spray household plants with a combination of few drops of peppermint essential oil and water. The plant will not be damaged by diluted oil and the spray will deter pests and clear the plant from eating aphids.

Remove Odors from Trash 

Add a 10-15 drops of peppermint oil at the trash can bottom. In your garbage, the fresh minty fragrance can regulate smells, also help to discourage ants and other pests like mice.

Get Rid of the Ants 

 In a spray bottle, blend 15-20 drops of peppermint oil in 1 cup of water. Shake well and spray or anywhere ants are seen around cracks and crevices.
