In my home, I use a calendar on the refrigerator for the kids to see, a calendar on my phone to give me reminders, and I also use a printed calendar that I keep next to me all the time. I like to have it written out next to me so I can see what my week or month looks like. Plus, these printable calendar pages are always so much more pretty than the dry erase board!

Speaking of dry erase board, I always make sure to get the low-odor markers because my youngest is on calendar duty. She loves to fill it out and write in all the things we have planned!

Iโ€™m actually amazed that we arenโ€™t overwhelmed with activities this season. Usually our saturdays are full with soccer games and weeknights are full with practices and meetings. This season not one of my kids is playing soccer. That is a HUGE change for us! It will be nice to have Saturdays free again, but also a bit strange.

What are your Saturdays like? I remember as a kid I used to go to the library with my mom and my brother as she would study and I would get books. Then I would soak up those books all weekend!

Iโ€™m sure our Saturdays will fill up pretty fast as we make plans to visit friends and the library and other autumn activities. Autumn is the best time of year for activities because there is so much going on between the change of season, the upcoming holidays and the start of the school year!
