Why is Quinoa So Amazing?

Have you ever eaten quinoa? If not, you’re seriously missing out! I won’t lie, it definitely took me a few tries to get on board but I really love this stuff now. It’s like rice, but has a good crunch to it making it kind of fun to eat. This tiny, spiral-shaped grain is a staple in many countries and for good reason. First of all, quinoa is packed with protein. In fact, it’s one of the few plant-based foods that contains all nine essential amino acids, making it a complete protein source.

I found it in the cheese aisle of the grocery store where the fancy cheese is located and it is so delicious. It’s definitely better using this on a Mexican or southwestern-style salad than plain shredded cheese, however you can use that if you can only find that style cheese.
