Each week I use the same template but switch up the meal ideas a bit according to what is on sale. You CAN create healthy meal plans with quick and easy weeknight dinners that kids love!

This week I went for a more clean and fresh eating vibe as the weather is turning nice(er) here in New England and the kids want to play outside and who wants to eat heavy wintery food right now?

Healthy Meal Plan Volume 5 for a Family of 5

It’s that time of the week again! I love it when it’s meal planning time. These easy weeknight dinners volume 5 are super easy and fun this week in honor of winter ending.

I’ve installed printing buttons on my meal plan posts now so you can both save these meal plans and shopping lists as pdf files AND print them out to take to the grocery store! But of course I recommend the pdf version that you can send to your smartphone!

Meatless Monday

Chickpea Veggie Burgers with Mango Chutney Honey Mustard
Meal Total = $5

Taco Tuesdays

Vegetarian Enchilada Casserole
Meal total = $7

Pasta Wednesdays

Arugula Pasta Salad
Meal Total = $6

Crockpot Thursdays

Creamy Crockpot Chicken Tacos
Meal total = $10

Fishy Fridays

Sautéed Garlic Shrimp with Corn on the Cob
Meal Total: $12

Meal Plan Shopping List

Grocery Items
3 boneless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can Rotel, undrained
1 pkt Sazon by Goya
Adobo seasoning
lettuce
1 tomato
1 bag Cheddar cheese
1 Sour cream
1 container salsa
1 cup olive oil
5 cloves garlic
5-6 ounces Arugula
1 pint grape tomatoes
1 large onion
1 cup mayo
2 oz Honey
2 oz mustard
2 oz mango chutney
1-2 zucchini
1 tbsp olive oil
8oz frozen corn
1 can black beans
1 (15 oz.) can of chickpeas
2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro
3 flour tortillas
1 pound shrimp
4-5 corn on the cob

    Holy Cow – I am so excited to find your blog! I’m always looking for new ideas and to have the shopping list already created is a HUGE time saver! What do chickpea veggie burgers taste like? I’m a big red meat fan . . . so it’s hard for me to imagine burgers made from anything other than beef . . .

    I’ve tried planning out my meals, but never stick to it. I should probably try something like this that does it all for me.
