– 6 cups water – 5 green cardamom pods – 1 inch piece of fresh ginger – 5 whole cinnamon stick – 1 teaspoon whole     black peppercorns – 15 whole cloves – 8 black tea bags – 2-4 tablespoons honey – milk, lactaid or almond milk – cheesecloth or tea ball
