How to Make a DIY Outdoor Bug Repellent Candle

Are you tired of pesky bugs ruining your outdoor gatherings or backyard barbecues? Look no further than this DIY outdoor bug repellent candle!

Made with a blend of natural ingredients such as orange, lemon, rosemary, bay leaves, citronella, and lavender, this easy-to-make candle is a great way to keep bugs at bay without resorting to harsh chemicals.

Materials

– Essential oils – Fresh Orange – Fresh Lemon – Rosemary Branch – Bay Leaves

Secure your wick to the bottom of your container using a bit of melted wax or a wick sticker. Add fruits on top to keep it in place.

Add citrus slices to container. Then add the rosemary and bay leaves.

Fill container 2/3 of way with water and add drops of essential oils into the water.

If using tealight, place it on top making sure not to let it get wet.

For a standard-sized candle, add about 10-15 drops of essential oils.
