Why Is Vanilla Yogurt in This Chocolate Peppermint Bread?

Vanilla yogurt is a great way to add flavor and moistness to homemade chocolate peppermint bread. The yogurt’s tanginess complements the chocolate and enhances the peppermint flavor. And, since vanilla yogurt is already sweetened, it eliminates the need for additional sugar in the recipe. Best of all, the yogurt’s thick consistency ensures that the bread will be nice and moist.
